STOP Tweeting #Fashtags Challenge!

Next time you see an offensive #fashtag trending and feel compelled to comment on it, perhaps consider not using their offensive #fashtag.

We’re all familiar with the pattern now. Some horrible little fash pricks tweet a nasty, provocative hashtag to trigger The Left. Today’s was about Dawn Butler. Predictably triggered and outraged, The Left responded by tweeting the same horrible fashtag in outrage. All. Day. Long. Until said horrible fashtag rises to the top of twitter’s ‘trending’ bar, as apose to supportive expressions of solidarity like, say, #IStandWithDawnButler or #IStandWithDawn.

Now, I’m not a twitter scientist but this seems like a remarkable waste of time and energy which only spreads bad vibes around twitter dot com while creating the nightmarish illusion that the fash have numbers which they simply do not have. Seriously, go and trawl that #fashtag and check who’s tweeting it and what they’re saying. 90+% outraged leftists, doing the fash’s work for them. Again. It would be really cool if The Left would just stop doing this.

So, next time you see an offensive fashtag trending and feel compelled to comment on it, perhaps consider not using their offensive #fashtag. Because helping #fashtags trend on twitter really is just ridiculously bad strategy, isn’t it?
