Now We Are Five…HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY OCCUPY!!!
In just five years, the international Occupy movement has dramatically altered the narrative and continues to. The word ‘Occupy’ is now part of our culture.
The 99% ARE too big to fail!
It’s hasn’t been easy. “They thought they buried us, not realising we were seeds”. The movement is still young, yet already we have learned so much from each other.
Doubtless, we will continue to learn as we move forward, together. We must honour the giants upon whose shoulders we stand. No root, no fruit.
Thank you everybody for all you have done and continue to do, overtly and covertly, anonymously and blatantly.
Together, we are building the kind of fairer, more equal society that politicians are
sadly only able to talk about.
