I only knew Tom from Nuit Debout, but he was a kind soul, and far too young to go. He really helped you to understand people who street drink and he knew how to get opponents and hecklers wound up. At nuit debout’s debut at speakers corner, he riled up a heckler by accusing a Tory politician of being a paedophile. The times we had at our night assemblies on Sundays and Wednesdays on Whitehall. As well as when we first met at the Cameron must gi protest in March I think it was. Some of the things he said were nuts, but sometimes he was dead right about things.
Tom, you will be missed
